This is the 16th anniversary of the Tearoom of Despair and, more worryingly, my 50th birthday. I've spent a lot of time recently wondering what was the single best song of the past five decades I've been alive on this planet, and after all that consideration, I can honestly say it's Cough Syrup by the Butthole Surfers. Just the best.
