Back when there was actual money in publishing and Mad Magazine was at its peak, the cartoonists on the mag would go off on holiday together, all around the world.
I never really partied when I travelled overseas, because who wants to travel with a hangover, but getting on the lash with that merry band of idiots in Switzerland or Tahiti or wherever? That must have been one of the great blasts of the 20th century.
