Vampirella was never my kind of comic. I have a few issues of the black and white magazine that I've had since I was a kid, and I haven't been able to get rid of them because they make me feel all funny inside, and they never made me want to ever get more because they also made me feel all funny inside. I think I have an Alan Moore Vampirella comic somewhere, but that's about it.
But looking through the latest Previews catalogue and discovering that Big Tom Sniegoski is still doing Vampirella comics was weirdly comforting. The man has been writing the adventures of this particular sexy vampire since the early nineties, and he's still out there, doing it.
It's absolutely not my bag, but fair play if Vampirella is your thing. At least you know what you're getting, especially with the same dude getting into the bloody mess regularly for three decades.
