Every fucking genre movie has to end with some kind of CGI nerdgasm these days, and none of it ever comes close to the thrills of Van Helsing just getting up on the table, fuckin' gapping it to the end and leaping onto the curtains, exposing Count Dracula to the sunrise that will turn him to dust
I don't know who the stunt artist is who does the deed - and wouldn't really be surprised if it was Peter Cushing doing it himself, because Cushing always committed. But it doesn't matter, it's Van Helsing leaping like that, and destroying the monster with sheer Victorian athleticism.
