Marvel Tales: New styles for a classic Spidey

There were some outstanding covers on the long-running Marvel Tales series - which had been reprinting the adventures of Spider-Man for bloody decades - just before it shuffled off this mortal coil, sometimes in the 1990s.

It's where you find that one cover with Morbius by Moebius, and some fantastic mid-career George Perez, a tiny bit of Brian Stelfreeze brilliance and some of Todd McFarlane's sharpest Spider-covers. There are chunks of Mike Zeck, Marshall Rogers and Ron Lim artwork, if that's your thing. But when it comes to these covers, I'm all about the Sam Keith, and am left lamenting that he never got to do a substantial amount of Hulk comics....
